The toddlers are working on making Oni pants! Oh, what’s this? It looks familiar, but there’s something different going on👀❓

That’s right! With the transition to Pre-K1 (3-year-olds) this spring in mind, the teachers have introduced colored pencils today. They feel different from the crayons they usually use. Colored pencils are thinner than crayons, and the color doesn’t show well unless you press down a bit. The toddlers are more focused than usual today! They’re enjoying creating their own designs with drawings and stickers.
After the lesson, the teachers consulted about introducing colored pencils. They want colored pencils that are easy for the kids to draw with and have good color payoff, ideally in a tin for easier management. Got it! We’ll make the order, and once they arrive, I’ll bring them to the classroom. Let’s continue to enjoy more art! 🎨✨✨✨
Now, a quiz! Who are these two friends? (´▽`)❓
