For our first cooking activity of February, we made Strawberry Bavarois!ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ🍓🍓🍓

🌹 RRIS Special Cooking Instructor’s Recipe
Strawberry Bavarois
Ingredients: Strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, plain yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, gelatin, egg whites, vanilla extract, salt.
(A detailed recipe is posted on the school’s bulletin board!)
💡 What is Bavarois?
Bavarois is a classic French dessert made by combining custard sauce (Anglaise sauce) with gelatin and whipped cream, then chilling it until set. The word “Bavarois” means “Bavarian” in French. It is believed to have been created by Antonin Carême, a French chef who served the Kingdom of Bavaria and was known as the “Emperor of Chefs.”

First, we checked all the ingredients together. ( ̄ー ̄)b Is everything ready❓

Then, we carefully measured each ingredient and added them to the blender one by one. Everyone worked as a great team! Once all the ingredients were in the bowl, we mixed in the strawberry jam and blended everything smoothly.٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨

Wait… why are we using an oven for bavarois? (ΦωΦ)❓
That’s because we baked meringue for the topping! The bavarois was finished with fresh strawberry slices and cute heart-shaped meringue. (´▽`)💕💕💕

Our little chefs have improved so much—they barely need the teachers’ instructions anymore! Thank you, as always!
Looking forward to making Daikon Chijimi next time! (`・ω・´)ゞ✨
