Today’s science lesson was a bit different—what exactly were we doing? ( ̄д ̄)❓

🔴 Task 1: Hand-Eye Coordination
We watched a video and clapped our hands only when a red circle appeared. If a different color or shape showed up, we had to stay still. Were our reactions accurate? (*”▽”)❓

🖐 Task 2: Catching a Falling Object
This experiment focused on reaction speed controlled by the brain. Our friends tried to catch a falling piece of construction toy joint dropped by the teacher.
Here’s what happens in the brain during this reaction:
① The piece starts to fall.
② The eyes see it and send signals to the brain.
③ The brain processes the information and sends a “grab” command.
④ The signal travels through the nervous system to the hand muscles.
⑤ The hand moves to catch the piece (sometimes successfully, sometimes not! (;゚Д゚)💧).

This type of reaction speed measurement is commonly introduced in science and physical education in elementary and middle school. It may sound complicated, but at 🌹RRIS🌹, we make learning fun through hands-on experiments!
Time flew by during today’s science session—we can’t wait to see what exciting experiments await us next week! (`・ω・´)ゞ✨
