Although October 14th was a holiday, we have so many friends at RRIS. We had a full day packed with πHalloweenπ» fun from morning till evening, and enjoyed every moment to the fullestο½γΎ(β§β½β¦)οΎπππ!

Firstly, we had a πSpooky Banana Smoothieπ₯ for our morning snack. We have a question for our math students in Pre-K1. How much do you think a bananaπ in the peel weighs? How about without the peel? When you weigh it on the scaleβ¦the bananaπ in the peel was 175 grams. The peeled bananaπ as 98 grams.
Banana peels sure are heavyβ¦(οΌοΎΠοΎ)π¦

After blending up some milkπ₯ and a bananaπ, the yummy smoothie is ready! We had many friends get a milk moustache!Β

Also, we read Halloween Cooking.

For our Halloween Craft, we made small containers featuring our favorite πHalloweenπ» characters. Everyone picked their favorite colors and carefully kneaded them into the clay. The result was a collection of beautiful pastel-colored clay creations.

Each child crafted a unique and creative small container. After letting them dry thoroughly, they can take them home to decorate with their own drawings to complete the finishing touch.

πThe Halloween gamesπ» were packed with fun! We played card games like Karuta and Concentration, as well as an original game where the kids connected cards to compare their heights. The balloon playπ was also a huge hit with everyone (β§β½β¦)πππ!

Oh yeah!Ξ£(ο½₯Οο½₯οΎ)οΎοΌ
That’s rightβ¦ Today was a joint daycare day, so everyone ate snacks and lunch together. It was a special mealtime, and the food tasted even better than usualο½(=οΎΟοΎ)οΎβ¨β¨β¨!

And then in the afternoon, it’s Halloween Art time. Today’s art is a bit more challenging than usualο½Ω©( βΟβ )Ωπππ I’m excited to see what kind of creations will be made!

After choosing their favorite character, we draw it on black construction paper using wood glue. The friends were excited watching the teacher make the sample. They said, ‘I want to do it!’ ‘I want pink for mine!’ ‘I want a ghost!’οΌΌ(βoβ)οΌ!”
Okay, okay! We have enough for everyone. Pick a good one!

Using everyone’s request, we drew on the character with glue. After that, they decorated it with their favorite colors of glitter and spangles.

Our Halloween character art is finished!!

For Halloween cooking, we made vanilla ice cream with pumpkin marshmallows. Snacks are even more delicious with our handmade toppings!
We spent a whole day from morning till evening immersed in Halloween fun! Both the children and the staff fully enjoyed themselves. Only two weeks left until the big Halloween day. Let’s keep up the excitement and get everyone ready! (ο½γ»Ογ»Β΄)γ!
