Using the ingredients from our daily morning snack, we made a simple smoothie in the blender.

Dozo no Isu is a long-selling picture book that has been read for 40 years. It beautifully conveys the warmth of caring for others. Happa no Tegami features a raccoon named Pon, who is a postman, and shares the heartwarming stories of how mountain animals care for one another.

③Craft – Hedgehog🦔
Playing with Clay Today, we’re deepening our learning about the animals that live in the mountains from Happa no Tegami, and we’re taking on a craft project featuring hedgehogs! 🦔 We’re kneading finger paint into the paper clay, mixing it until we achieve a lovely color. Then, we’ll shape the body of the hedgehog 🦔 and use fusilli pasta (which we’re using, from an SDGs perspective, because it’s past its expiration date) as spikes, poking them into the back. Once the clay is dry, we’ll draw on the face, and it will be complete! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ👏👏👏 Everyone who loves clay is taking on their second project! They’ve created a variety of animals, including bears 🐻, squirrels 🐿, and even a tiger 🐯 (why that one…? (；ﾟДﾟ)💦). It’s wonderful to see their creativity shine! (*”▽”)🌟🌟🌟

④Lunch
Today everyone is having their school lunch in the hall. We even have some friends lately who like to get seconds of the veggie dishes. My plate is squeaky clean!～(*”▽”)✨✨✨

Inter Class – Help Teachers with Cooking and Craft
Today, one friend from Kinder helped to prepare for the lesson. For this afternoon’s craft, they were busy using a craft punch to make lots of leaf and flower motifs, repeatedly punching away. Knowing that their toddler classmates love hearts and pink, they said, “We need to make a lot of pink!” and “Hearts will definitely be a good idea!” They dedicated themselves to preparation. They also showed interest in paper cutting, trying out flowers and animals. Their scissor skills are perfect! (￣ー￣)b!

⑥Cooking – Maple Syrup Pancake🥞🍁 　Special Cooking – Cotton Candy
Today’s cooking is Maple Syrup Pancakes. 🥞🍁 The toddlers are trying their hand at cracking eggs!

The infant friends also tried to whisk the eggs with the teacher’s help.

The Kinder kids are also doing great today! They’re measuring milk accurately. When it comes to baking, precise measurements are crucial! ( ｀ー´)ノ

The second important tip for baking: Once you add the flour, mix it gently.
No kneading allowed! (￣ー￣)b

Thank you for your help! The teacher will take over the cooking from here.

All of the fresh pancakes were eaten up in a flash!～(；ﾟДﾟ)💦💦💦

Next up is the cotton candy machine٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨
Everyone is glued to the sight of the granulated sugar transforming into fluffy cotton candy! 👀

When everyone is enjoying delicious food, they truly look so happy! (´艸｀*)💕💕💕

⑦Craft – Paper Plate Leaf Decoration🍂🍃🍁
Lastly, we are doing a paper plate decoration with leaves. The paper parts that the Kinder friends helped to prepare will come in handy here. Let’s glue them to the paper plate one by one. We made such a nice decoration. Make sure to hang it up next to your hedgehog at home (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ♪

The autumn leaf craft was filled with fall colors. We wrapped up our day joyfully and deliciously! (´▽｀)🍂🍃🍁
