Pre-K1 & Kinder Classes have landed in 🌎 North America 🛬!
They are visiting various famous landmarks (important symbols, historic buildings, and sites) across the continent.
Here’s their report from the field! (`・ω・´)ゞ

First Stop: The United States – “The Golden Gate Bridge”
The children built a bridge using colorful popsicle sticks and even let toy cars drive across it! ٩( ”ω” )و🎉🎉🎉

Next: Greenland – The Largest Town, “Qaqortoq“
Pictured is the “Stone & Man” project, led by Greenlandic artist Aka Hoegh. He turned the town into an open-air art gallery, carving 24 sculptures into rock walls and stones with 18 other artists. Today, the town boasts over 40 sculptures.

After learning about it, the children jumped into hands-on experience by creating their own stone carvings using glue and thread—an activity aligning with 🌹RRIS🌹’s inquiry-based learning, STEAM education, and SDGs principles. ٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨

Next Stop: Canada – “Niagara Falls”
Often described as “thundering waters,” the name is believed to come from the Iroquoian word “Onguiaahra,” meaning “strait.”
( ..)φ Notes taken!

The children deepened their learning through a creative activity—replicating the mighty flow of water with their own experiment. (*’▽’)💦💦💦💦💦

Final Stop of the Day: Guatemala – “Tikal”
Tikal is one of the three major Mayan ruins in the world. After studying Temple I at the Great Plaza, the children built their own original temples!
