Today is a long-awaited Park Day! ～(”ω”)👟🧢🎒

They’re having so much fun playing! ～٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨ The weather is perfect too! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ🌟🌟🌟 …Oops, I mean, get to work, everyone! (; ･`д･´)💦💦💦 Let’s go! ( ｀ー´)ノ

Actually, today, aside from all the physical activity during outdoor play, Pre-K1 & Kinder friends had an important mission: to deepen their understanding of acorns and collect as many as they could!
After playing on the playground equipment and running around the park, everyone gathered around the teacher. After learning about acorns, they all scattered to begin their acorn collection mission! ( ｀ー´)ノ!

After just a few minutes of collecting acorns… suddenly, the Pre-K1 🌰 Acorn Master 👓 appeared!
Not only did they start collecting the acorns, but they began explaining each one they found! (ﾟДﾟ;)💦💦💦 Both the teacher and friends were surprised by this! (；ﾟДﾟ)💧 When asked, they explained that there are many trees near their home, and they often collect acorns 🌰 and pinecones! Their grandfather always explains things carefully, and they remember his words so well! (´ω｀)💕💕💕

Afterwards, everyone collected over 100 acorns of various sizes and types. The teacher carefully cleaned and washed them, then they were frozen for sterilization and pest control. Once everything is ready, we’ll have fun playing with the acorns and creating art with them! 🎨🌰🍂🌳٩(”ω” )و

Here comes the always exciting Science Experiment Time! ～ヾ(≧▽≦)ﾉ👏👏👏

This time, it’s an experiment on surface tension, plus a little extra! When we add something to the water, something exciting happens! (”ω”)

If you gently place an object on water, it will float as expected. However, when soap solution (detergent) is added, the surface tension breaks, causing the object to sink. How mysterious! (；ﾟДﾟ)❓❓❓

💡 The surfactants in soap and detergent, when dissolved in water, align with their hydrophilic (water-attracting) part facing the water and their hydrophobic (water-repelling) part facing the air. This weakens the attraction between water molecules, lowering the surface tension of the water.

Today was a day full of exploration, discoveries, hands-on experiences, reflections, physical activities, and observations!
