The Toddler class friends have been obsessed with acorns since last week.
What are they making today? 👀❓

📚 Shizen ni Tacchi! Donguri Korokoro (Touching Nature! Acorn Rolling)
This picture book is filled from cover to cover with acorns, acorns, and more acorns. It shows how acorns grow, the many different types of acorns, and the animals that eat them.

After learning about acorns through the book, it’s time for ♬ Donguri Korokoro (Acorn Rolling).
We’ll dance along to the song! ٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨

Round and rolling, there are so many acorns. Seeing real acorns in front of them, the children are full of excitement.
Acorns are already so adorable just as they are (*´ω`)💕💕💕

They are sticking leaf 🍃🍂🍁 stickers onto clear plastic cups. So many kinds of leaves 🍃🍂🍁! Oh? There are even acorns like the ones we saw in the picture book. What are they making, I wonder ( ̄д ̄)❓

Ah, they’re putting acorns into the decorated cups. When the cups are taped together, voilà—a maraca is complete! Remember when we made maracas with different materials and enjoyed the variety of sounds during music play with the Infant class? This time, it’s an acorn maraca. What kind of sound will it make❓
We will keep making Autumn themed creations for a while.
I want the friends at 🌹RRIS🌹 to touch as many natural materials as possible and enjoy the beauty of nature and the changing seasons. 🌰🍂🍃
