We’ve reached the middle of December~っっっ\(゜ロ\)(/ロ゜)/💦💦💦
So, we’re diving into the “Rainbow Rose Calendar Project” (`・ω・´)ゞ!

In the Japanese lesson, we’ve been sharing information about the calendar with everyone since last week. Topics like the origin of the zodiac and the names of the months might be a bit challenging, but I think it’s a great opportunity to touch upon Japanese culture and seasonal events, helping to deepen understanding.

We’ll reflect on each month from January to December and look into the events that happen during each month.
Student 1) “We ate this during Tanabata.”
Student 2) “I like the white part of the three-colored dumplings.” (While looking at the cherry blossom page.)
Student 3) “This is a maze!” (Looking at an illustration of a snake… although it’s not actually a maze…)
Student 4) “This book is interesting!” (While looking at the most difficult book, “Understanding All About Japanese Customs”)
Everyone is excited and curious as they flip through the pages 👀.
Each year, we’ll continue to revisit these seasonal events and imprint them in our hearts.

Let’s get started on the “Calendar” project right away ( `ー´)ノ!
We’ll look at the calendar for each month and check what events take place 👀👀👀.

Since the construction paper is large, let’s divide into two groups.
We’ll glue each calendar sheet onto the construction paper we previously selected and arranged by monthly colors.
(A state of zen… (ΦωΦ)💧)

Relentlessly gluing away, over and over. Next week, we’ll draw and decorate each month (including attaching images) and also make the cover page ٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨
Student 2) “I’m making mine all Sanrio!”
Student 1) “I’m going to make a cool calendar. I’m putting Kamen Rider on it.
(Yes, yes, all the images you requested have already been printed and cut out for you… ( ̄▽ ̄;)💦💦💦)
The design is entirely up to you. What kind of “Calendar” will everyone create?
Stay tuned for the results (`・ω・´)ゞ!
