The winter break has ended, and the friends are back at 🌹RRIS🌹~٩( ”ω” )و💕💕💕
This year’s zodiac is the Year of the Snake. Pre-K1 & Kinder are working on creating snakes.

They are coloring paper, adding eyes, and making snake faces. They are folding long strips of paper to create the snake’s long, thin body (this helps with fine motor skills). Once assembled, the snake, the animal of this year’s zodiac, is complete (=゚ω゚)ノ🌟🌟🌟

💡 Snakes have been worshipped as gods of abundance and weather for a long time. Since they can survive for a long time without food, they were also revered as ‘messengers of the gods.’ The character ‘巳’ (mi) has meanings like ‘new beginnings,’ ‘a promising future,’ ‘prosperity for descendants,’ and ‘family peace.’ Snakes are also a symbol of regeneration and eternity due to their ability to shed their skin. The Year of the Snake is seen as a time for new challenges and positive change.

This is a gift from the homeroom teacher, who brought back a 150-piece animal puzzle from their trip to the United States. The children built and rebuilt it, concentrating deeply as they played.
On the first day back after the break, the classroom was filled with chatter as the children shared what they did during their holidays ( *´艸`)♫
