Today, six familiar families joined us again~(=゚ω゚)ノ👏👏👏

📚 Storytime
Mamemakii Dekiru Kana「Can We Do the Bean-Throwing?」
Oni no Pantsu no Sono Ato Wa…「What Happens to the Oni’s Pants After…?」
Norimaki 「Sushi Roll」

Now, here’s a question:
“How many types and kinds of ingredients are in the Eho-Maki (lucky roll)?”
Yes, seven types, inspired by the Seven Lucky Gods: dried gourd, shiitake mushrooms, omelet/datemaki, cucumber, eel, sakura denbu (sweet pink fish flakes), and shrimp. Each ingredient has its own meaning, which led to a chorus of “Oh, really?”.
“What’s next after the Oni’s Pants…?” was something no one knew about. What happened to those indestructible Oni’s pants that can be worn for 10 years without tearing? (; ・`д・´)?

🎨 Art & Craft: Oni
Red Oni & Blue Oni (using toilet paper rolls, colored paper, googly eyes, and double-sided tape)

Our friends who are good at peeling off the backing paper did a great job helping out their moms!

The older boys were eager to move around. We introduced some easy movement games that can be done at home. There’s the swaying cuddle game. Since the children trust their moms, they don’t feel scared at all when being rocked or jostled. However… the moms have their work cut out for them. While the children are having fun, the moms are left with some serious muscle soreness ( ̄▽ ̄;)💦

Among these six families, one little friend will graduate from Baby & Mom this January. Starting in February, they’ll join the Infant class. It’s a bit sad, but don’t worry, we’ll still see them on Thursdays. The Baby & Mom group will also join us in April, so be sure to look forward to it (´ω`)💕💕💕
