Excited and nervous (￣▽￣;)💦
From today, Pre K-1 and Kinder class are starting PTC (Parent Teacher Conferences)! (≧▽≦)ﾉ✨✨✨

Up first is a Pre K-1 student. They have been in the class from June. This is their first experience being in an English environment. Since June there have been many new challenges. For example, being away from Mommy, learning their first English words, and meeting new friends. It also takes some time for the body to adjust from being so sleepy when the lessons start…💤(Reminiscing on days past led to an even greater mutual appreciation of both teachers and Mom …(*´ω｀)💕💕💕）

The teachers take special care of each child at all times. When they started crying after saying goodbye to their parents, the teacher comforted them by giving them a hug and sitting close by. When they tried their best to eat an unfamiliar or disliked vegetable at lunch, the teacher gives them praise with a bright smile. When he said a joke and teased in English, the teachers laughed a lot out of surprise and even said, “I’m so proud of him!”. They have improved their skills on the monkey bar. They have also become a thoughful friend, even naturally giving a tissue to a sad friend without a second thought. The same child who started the year in tears has become more emotionally aware and in more control of ther emotions. They have grown up a lot. Each day is filled with “I can do it” and “This is so fun”. Parents and teachers are overwhelmed with positive feelings. It was a great 📚PTC 🎓.

Finally, the teacher showed the student’s Growth Summary. This shows how the student is improving in various areas such as Social Studies, Theme Learning, Physical Development, etc. The first page even has their handprint as well. I wonder how much bigger their hands will get next from next year and beyond.(´ω｀)💕💕💕

The children’s growth records are a testament to the teachers’ love, passion, patience and hard work. We thank you every day for your wonderful lessons.
