The infant class had a fun time ♬playing with sound!(^^♪(=゚ω゚)ノ✨✨✨

Everyone read the book どうぶつたちのおんがくかい がっきをつくろう (The AnimalsConcert-Let
s Make Instruments Together). The children were very curious about kind of instrument you could make with an animal’s voice.(”ω”)👆 (We decided to make each instrument, one by one, starting from next time! (”ω”)ノAt RRIS, we strive to apapt to the childrens’ interests in our lessons.)

For today’s sound play, the theme was maracas. Everyone was quiet as a mouse and listened carefully. Shh~ The adzuki beans make a clinking sound in the plate~ . The beans went clink clank, clink clank, making a beautiful melody.

Up next was the dried soy beans, which made a little rattling sound. It was a soft sound. How about the rice? What about the wheat? Does the dry pasta make a different sound? With their eyes glued to the plate, he children were engrossed in the sound of the grains hitting the ceramic plates.

After that, we used our sense of touch to explore the adzuki and soy beans. I wonder what they feel like… They were absolutely captivated by the sensory experience. (Actually they were exploring for over ten straight minutes…What fun!)

After experiencing many sounds, we got to making the maracas for our main activity. They put the adzuki beans into a recycled plastic drink bottle. You can hear the sound of the beans clearly when the bottle is shaken up. Somehow, the sound is a little different from the plates. With ears perked up, we what kind of sounds the other grains would make.

Okay everyone, let’s make some maracas~(=゚ω゚)ノ! Hold the bottle tightly in your hand, and put the beans in please! Everyone put the beans in nicely without spilling. They concentrated with unparalleled focus. ( Of course some friends enjoyed the sounds of the beans hitting the floor more, (;゚Д゚)💦but the staff vacuumed them up quickly!) With the finished maracas, finally everyone could play! Each and every instrument has a unique sound. The hall was filled with their music~ (´ω`)💕💕💕

Next up they played with colorful scarves. They explored swaying the scarf from up to down and drawing big circles of fabric in the air. While some friends are playing Peek-a-oo!, others are showing off the latest fashions by forming veils with the scarves. They had a blast running around the hall.٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨

Ding Ding Ding♪From October, we will start English Play Time with the combined Toddler and Infant classes. (Even though up until now the Native English teachers have also been joining the classes, we have decided to combine Toddlers and Infants specifically for this designated learning time٩( ”ω” )و)
From October, Infant and Toddler classes have added more friends!(*”▽”)👏👏👏 It was hard to believe it was only their first day, with how well everyone blended together. This is all thanks to our loving friends and teachers! Thank you everyone!~ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ✨✨✨
