The ghosts have come to🌹RRIS🌹~\(゜ロ\)(/ロ゜)/💦💦💦

Today is a sculpture day.
We read 📚 THE GHOST’S DINNER and 📚 BOO! (these books use flourescent paint and glow in the dark) A ghost👻 can come in any shape and size. A ghost👻 will turn orange after eating pumpkin soup….The children were very focused on the book. The fun starts now! Using paper clay, we will make ghosts👻 while have a sensory experience. ٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨

Knead and stretch…knead and stretch… Is that Shinsuke Yoshitake?

Even the friends who did not enjoy the touch and texture got used to it slowly.

Let’s also make some dango! Knead Knead. Push Push. Knead Knead. Push Push.

Some friends made a big ball🥎 out of the rest of the dough, and threw a fastball at the staff members. Do we have a budding major league pitcher on our hands(゚Д゚;)❓

The kids certainly enjoyed pushing, patting, kneading, and stretching the paper clay. They mads things like gyoza wrappers(❓) and dango. The paper clay can be ripped like tissue paper or stretched to make soft serve ice cream. Some friends even rolled out the dough to make a pizza or made long strands like a bowl of noodles. You never know, we might have a pizza chef or noodle maker growing up with us at 🌹RRIS!🌹(´ω`)💕💕💕
Playing with clay is a very sensory experience. It stimulates our sense of touch, but also helps with imagination and creativity. This is so important for little ones.(=゚ω゚)ノ✨✨✨

After playing with the clay, they made their own original ghost crafts. Of course they also did some freehand play. Try your hand at stretching and molding the clay in different ways. Make a tail shape, add a hole and ou can make some eyes and a mouth. They are now drying in the office. Once they are dry, there will be so many ghosts in the hall!👻👻👻👻👻
