From this week, we are staring Halloween Month～ヾ(≧▽≦)ﾉ👏👏👏
Today we are reading 📚Jack-oOOOoo-Lantern and 📚Halloween Frights to investigate the jack-o-lantern.
💡 “Jack” in “Jack-o-lantern” is the name of a man from an Irish folk tale. It is said that Jack was a miser who did not share any food with the villagers suffering from famine. After his death, he could neither go to heaven nor hell, so he wandered in the dark, lighting a lantern. Originally the lantern was made from a turnip. When Halloween came to America however, the pumpkin became standard because they were more readily available ( ..)φ Memo memo (There are various theories about this).
Here are our friends from the Infant class. Following the ghosts 👻 we made the other day, we created Jack-o’-lantern maracas this time! Today, the kids enjoyed the sounds of things like red beans, soybeans, and dry pasta. They put their favorite materials into orange plastic containers. Once the maracas were finished, they had a big musical performance to the sound of a xylophone. The setlist included ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,’ ‘Do-Re-Mi Song,’ and ‘Butterfly’~ ( =ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ♬”

This shows the toddler class. Today they had fun making a fish🐟 craft! After finishing the craft, everyone went fishing together.🎣(*”▽”)✨✨✨
The English Fun Time class started today for our Infant and Toddler classes.🎉🎉🎉 It was fun to read picture books and sing songs!～ ٩( ”ω” )و✨✨✨
Taking our final spot today is the Pre K-1 and Kinder friends. By weaving together green and blue construction paper, our friends made the Earth. Around the Earth, they painted a variety of items as well. (”ω”)b！
